Who we are
RdvPilot is a service published by STEP MEDIA AGENCY, Kénitra, Morocco. Contact: contact@stepmedia.ma. For its clients’ data, the business remains the data controller; STEP MEDIA processes it on the business’s behalf, solely to run the service.
Data processed
For the business: account, contact details, public information (services, prices, hours, team, photos) and payment receipts. For its clients: name, phone number, appointments and messages exchanged on WhatsApp. No health data is requested or stored: a health topic raised in a conversation is passed on to the business’s team.
Why
To book, confirm, remind and reschedule appointments; to ask for a review after the visit; to answer clients’ messages; to manage the business’s subscription. WhatsApp follow-up messages are sent with the consent given at booking; clients can reply STOP to opt out.
AI receptionist
When the business has enabled it, messages and voice notes received on WhatsApp are processed automatically to understand the request and draft the reply; voice notes are transcribed into text. The AI never decides alone: availability, prices and durations come from the business’s calendar, and any cancellation requires a confirmation. The team can take over the conversation at any time.
Technical providers
To operate, the service relies on: Meta (WhatsApp Business), Anthropic (understanding and drafting the AI receptionist’s replies), ElevenLabs or OpenAI (voice-note transcription), Google (sign-in with a Google account and review display), as well as a server and database host. Some are located outside Morocco; only the data needed for their task is shared with them.
Retention and security
Data is kept for as long as the business’s account exists, including when its workspace is closed for non-payment; it is deleted upon the business’s written request. Each business is isolated from the others, access is by personal account, payment receipts remain private and technical logs contain no phone numbers.
Your rights
Under Moroccan law 09-08, you may request access to, correction of, objection to or deletion of your data by writing to contact@stepmedia.ma. If you are a client of a business, you may also contact the business directly.
